There are a ton of sweet newborn angels scattered all over this website, y’all. I know…HUGE shock given that I’m a newborn photographer. And this is my website. But I digress. Have you ever looked through all the precious little toes and perfect tiny pouts and wondered if you should just bite the bullet and book a session for your own upcoming arrival? There is so much to plan for and pay for and arrange and schedule…those last months before your baby arrives are overwhelming, to say the least. You’re always looking for places to save and corners to cut in order to make room for that fabulous crib or space aged swing.
(Don’t buy the swing. The baby will end up ONLY liking some random thing that your neighbor brings over. For free. Not that I know from experience or anything.) It’s hard to know what’s more important and what can fall by the wayside when planning for a new baby. The biggest regret that clients regularly share with me is the moment they failed to have a photographer capture. Everyone has the story of the missed memory…the pregnancy photo shoot of the belly that seemed like it would never go away and didn’t REALLY need to be captured…the second born child who seemed to turn into a toddler overnight without a shot of the tiny days in sight…the teenagers that could never be pulled out of bed who suddenly went to college before you got that last family portrait of the way you were…I hear it all. ALL THE TIME. The big moments are the ones that flash by in an instant and that is what you will look back on with regret. You might end up wishing you hadn’t bought that expensive convertible crib when your little boy wants nothing more than the cheap Ikea bunk bed, but I promise you that the Carrollton family celebrating this little cutie will not be sorry that they can look at THIS forever!
Can you imagine seeing this flawless face on your wall and NOT smiling with your soul every time you laid eyes on it?! I think not. THIS is what you will want to remember. It goes fast, y’all. And you think you’ll memorize how tiny he is, but you won’t. You won’t believe the little boy eating everything in your house was EVER that small. It’s worth capturing forever.
Most of the families who make their way to me do so because they’ve been toying around with the idea of a newborn photographer and stumble onto this website or my Facebook page. We have been incredibly fortunate to serve families all over the DFW Metroplex, including Denton, Carrollton, Keller, Lewisville, Murphy, Plano, Richardson, and Wylie. Having such a diverse group of awesome clients has allowed me to learn a lot about what parents need from their photographer. It’s crucial that they have these memories captured by a professional who knows exactly how to create the portrait that will end up an heirloom. Many families know exactly where they envision their portrait going and want the art to fit seamlessly into the location they desire. We can work with you to create the exact feeling, organic color palette, and perfect size and print medium to bring your portrait to life in your space.

You should expect a lot more from your family photographer – creating the memory is just the beginning. Stay tuned to the blog to learn more about what we can do to bring your portraits to life in EXACTLY the right way…images like these shouldn’t be relegated to life hidden away on a flash drive and I can help you figure it all out!
