This Plano Newborn Photographer had lofty goals of blogging more and then life just gets in the way. In an attempt to catch up without creating a mountain to climb, I thought I’d combine my favorite images from several sessions over the past 6 months into one mega blog post! Sounds like a great idea, right? And perhaps I can better keep up with blogging going forward.
It doesn’t always happen, but I prefer when moms-to-be book while still pregnant. This gives us enough lead-time to customize the session just to their baby and nursery. In my session planning process, I’ll ask Mom (or Dad, but 90% of the time it’s Mom who books the newborn photo session) what their plans are for baby’s nursery. Are they planning a gender-neutral nursery, an organic white, cream, beige off-white nursery? Is the mom in love will frilly lace or has she only thought pink since she found out whether she was expecting a girl? Having an idea of nursery theme or nursery color scheme, or if there are any favorite lovees, or hand me down heirloom baby clothes to incorporate helps me tailor the newborn photo session to each individual baby.
Without further ado, a look back at some of my favorite newborn photos I’ve taken so far this year.
I just love this sparkly pink bow! Baby’s mom got it from Bana Bean!
And YAWN! I just love baby yawns.
And this little man, CHEEKS for DAYS! He had the squishiest cheeks I’ve ever seen!
